A Multinational Company is looking for an Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts who will be responsible for supporting the financial management and accounting operations of the organization. This role involves assisting with financial planning, analysis, and reporting, managing daily accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Assistant Manager works closely with the finance team to provide accurate financial information, facilitate decision-making, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with accounting and financial activities, including treasury, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, loan servicing, and financial reporting.
- Managing financial control procedures to ensure that all funds are properly spent and accounted for, and all income is properly recorded.
- Close monitoring of bank transactions to identify if there is any discrepancy.
- Ensure the bills and vouchers submitted and accepted by the management are authentic and properly justified.
- To assist in the management of all accounting procedures and systems used by the organization.
- Meeting the regulatory and reporting requirements under the appropriate legislation.
- Play integral part in Monthly closing process, Coordination with the team to understand the variances with planned performance and able to present the same to Finance Manager in most succinct manner.
- Able to lead the financial modeling of CAPEX projects and evaluate various options using Payback, IRR and other methods.
- Focus on complex planning issues around the Annual Operating Plan.
- Demonstrate and inspire integrity.
- In line with team spirit, work on other special tasks assigned by the Finance Manager, where his/her experience and skills are an asset and/or immediate shortage of personnel capabilities require so; and
- Any other responsibility as framed and assigned from time to time.
